It turns out I had to configure at least one phone number in the 'Phones' list.
The only way I could end the meeting and/or log out of Skype for Business was to reboot my machine. I was not allowed to end the meeting or exit the meeting even after all other participants had left.I did not see the above options when I joined the meeting whether I joined via the link in the meeting invitation or via the desktop application. It's just behaving the way I would expect it to.
#SKYPE FOR BUSINESS GROUP CALL DAIL IN LICENSE#
What do I need to do to get Skype to allow me to indicate that I want to call in using a phone rather than using my computer's audio?Īgain, I have a license for Dial-In conferencing.
Why can't I end a meeting when I'm the host and it's over?.What do I need to do to get Skype to recognize that I'm the host of the meeting when I click the link or the button?.But, it shows me twice - once as myself with noĪudio and once as a 'guest' which just lists my phone number. When I click "End Meeting", nothing happens.Īlso, even though I have the option to dial-in via phone, the meeting only gives me the option of joining the meeting using Skype for Business for audio or to not join via audio at all. If I join using the Join button in the Skype for Business desktop app, it doesn't recognize that I'm the host of the meeting.Įither way I join the meeting - using the link in the email invitation or using the button in the app - I get "stuck" in the meeting. When I click the Join Skype Meeting Link, it doesn't recognize that I'm the host of the meeting. Skype for Business isn't behaving the way I would expect it to when I host a meeting. I was recently provided with a license to the Dial-In Conferencing so participants can call in using a phone (versus being forced to use the audio on their computer). My company uses Skype for Business for instant messaging and to host meetings.
